Addendum: The time spent in the far east with the Air Force made me an admirer of Japanese Gardens, the woodblock prints of Hiroshige and the Haiku (a non rhyming poem of a moment keenly perceived, generally reflecting on man and nature).
A few of my pastels and paintings are inspired by the prints of Hiroshige and the Gardens of Japan and on occassion a special painting inspires me to write a haiku as the title (Americanized version of 5, 7, 5 syllables). Please forgive me this self indulgence.
As always, my prayer is that a few of you will find pleasure in what I so enjoy creating.

I haven't painted for a while (heart surgery, Jan '05) but hope to resume soon and have some new paintings for my web site.
I have resumed (May '05) painting and a few of my new paintings are now on site.
I've had a busy summer with a good number of plein air paintings. Thls summer (05) I've been concentrating on painting with acrylics.
During the plein air season of '06, I've been splitting my painting almost evenly between pastel and acrylic paintings.
